State of the Studio: February Update

01.
CREATIVE SPARKS

- Tonight is Cousin Book Club (which is exactly what it sounds like) and this time we're talking through this beautiful story.

- Inside Barbara Walker's studio in Birmingham, UK. She's making me want to play with charcoal sometime soon.

- I decided to go back to this classic planner for 2024 and so far no regrets!

- Santa dropped off these sheet pans for Christmas and let me tell you, they are a delightful upgrade from what I had been working with for years.

- The latest listen-passively-throughout-the-day-in-a-good-way podcast.

- We recently bought a book of Mad Libs on a whim, and Dakota and I have been sporadically filling it out and laughing out load at least once per page.

- A car-free island off the coast of Maine.

02.
HAPPENINGS

- Check out the new landscape, abstract, and magnolia prints!

- There are a few calendars left, and they're on sale.

AND, AS ALWAYS…

- If you're looking for larger paintings, check out what's in stock at the wonderful galleries I work with: Anne Irwin Fine Art | Bee Street Gallery | The Willard Gallery

-Do you have a friend who likes art, design, books, podcasts, gardens, and colorful things? Invite them over! Forward them this email and share the love.

We have a six month old baby!!! He (and his scrunchy smile) is the best.
