State of the Studio: January Update

01.
CREATIVE SPARKS

- Last month I linked to Jon and Suleika's home, but now I'm back to recommend Jon on Armchair Expert and his Netflix documentary. Truly a creative genius.

- A new podcast from Caro Chambers that I am, coincidentally, So Into.

- A “Silly, Thrifty, and Not Too Serious” Harlem home. I love an artful home that still looks lived in.

- Playing Kendra Logozar's ‘Quiet Piano’ albums at night during the baby's bedtime routine for a nice little wind-down.

- Currently reading: This book set at a fictionalized version of SNL (speaking of SNL, if you haven't watched Nate's episode, go forth).

- Deeming this iridescent nail polish a new staple in my life. Something about it feels subtly Lisa Frank-ish, but appropriate for a 31 year old.

- Just downloaded the app to ~officially~ kick off 2024 Outside Time.

HAPPENINGS

- If you're looking for larger paintings, check out what's in stock at the wonderful galleries I work with: Anne Irwin Fine Art | Bee Street Gallery | The Willard Gallery

-Do you have a friend who likes art, design, books, podcasts, gardens, and colorful things? Invite them over! Forward them this email and share the love.
