State of the Studio: July Update

01.
CREATIVE SPARKS

- A house on the Norwegian coast made entirely from scraps. I love it.

- I checked this cookbook out from the library but ended up buying it because I was taking pictures of every other recipe to save for later.

- My favorite swimsuits for actually swimming and being active.

- An Australian garden "very much rooted in that sense of unbridled joy.”

- Interested in any house described as "higgledy-piggledy." It's effectively the opposite of the Norwegian one, but we contain multitudes!

- Two recent reads include this memoir for book club (loved the audiobook and the writing, still processing the actual story) and this charming fiction

- Parker turns one(!) on the 28th so I figured it was high time to write some things down. I may have overcommitted by ordering this journal.

02.
HAPPENINGS

- My favorite of the Everyday Magic series so far. Prints coming soon (this week)!

-I'm about to start my largest commission to date. Can't wait to get my paws on a pair of 46x70" canvases.

AND, AS ALWAYS…

- If you're looking for larger paintings, check out what's in stock at the wonderful galleries I work with: Anne Irwin Fine Art | Bee Street Gallery | The Willard Gallery

-Do you have a friend who likes art, design, books, podcasts, gardens, and colorful things? Invite them over! Forward them this email and share the love.
