State of the Studio: June Update

01.
CREATIVE SPARKS

- Assuming I'm not the only one daydreaming of spending the summer reading and canoeing and eating lobster and ice cream in Maine at a house like this?

- Molly Yeh is one of those people I convince myself I would be BFFs with if we ever happened to cross paths, so of course it was a pleasure hearing her on this podcast.

- Fascinated (baffled?) by this story of a lost typeface recovered from the Thames River.

- I love where I live!!!

- Such a lovely combination of colors and patterns in this Portland bungalow

- We've gotten into a routine of post-naptime bike rides to the library, and a couple days ago I checked out this cookbook.

- I wanted a leakproof water bottle that The Kid could use (but I could also steal) and this one fits the bill

02.
HAPPENINGS

- The latest in my ongoing Everyday Magic series.

AND, AS ALWAYS…

- If you're looking for larger paintings, check out what's in stock at the wonderful galleries I work with: Anne Irwin Fine Art | Bee Street Gallery | The Willard Gallery

-Do you have a friend who likes art, design, books, podcasts, gardens, and colorful things? Invite them over! Forward them this email and share the love.

SOMETHING GOOD

Everything about this scene (and every creature in it). Feeling acutely aware of what a gift this* all is these days.

*a safe home, this healthy family, food & clean water, all of it.

UNTIL NEXT TIME,
