State of the Studio: September Update

01.
CREATIVE SPARKS

- A playful apartment in Singapore inspired by a Swiss army knife.

- We are heading to Maine in a couple weeks! I've been perusing Down East Magazine to get in the spirit and loved reading about these gear libraries and this sheep shearer.

- Clever integration between this 1800s English schoolhouse home and its modern addition.

- These children's shoe illustrations made me emotional!

- Recently read: This v cute romcom. Currently reading: This beauty by a local author. About to start: This book (on audio) that seems to be everywhere right now.

- All the girlies at the Olympics influenced me to buy this tee and it is already firmly established in the t-shirt rotation.

- The striped kitchen(!) in this Swiss chalet in the Loire Valley.

HAPPENINGS

- The latest of the ongoing Everyday Magic series. It's a wonder I haven't painted this before now.

- New paintings at Anne Irwin AND at the Willard gallery

- I can hardly believe it but I'm prepping for the holidays already. Stay tuned for calendar pre-orders (October), a print sale (November), and lots of ornaments (November).

And, as always…

- If you're looking for larger paintings, check out what's in stock at the wonderful galleries I work with: Anne Irwin Fine Art | Bee Street Gallery | The Willard Gallery

-Do you have a friend who likes art, design, books, podcasts, gardens, etc etc etc? Invite them over! Forward them this email and share the love.
